The answer is relatively simple, a psychic claiming to be certified is offering a kind of guarantee that they have been reliably endorsed in some way. Usually they will claim to have past tests or examinations set by a specific psychic organization or institution.

But can you be sure that a psychic claiming to be certified will give you a better reading than one that isn’t? It’s certainly true that there are many successful psychics providing accurate readings that do not have any form of certification.

Certification is a difficult area because there isn’t a specific governing body representing psychic readers. At the present time it’s possible for any psychic institution to offer some form of certification. So unless that institution is well-known for providing a top quality, ethical service who can say if psychic qualifications really mean anything at all?

It is vital that you check the credentials of any organization that claims to offer psychic certification. Check their website to see if they work with respected psychic readers, how many years they have been established and what other services they offer. Some institutions, particularly in the field of astrology, offer in-depth courses that require students to pass examinations and sign a code of ethics on completion.

If a website claiming to offer readings by certified psychics has dead links, is lacking in information and has no traceable history then any psychics claiming to hold their certificate of endorsement may in reality have a worthless document.

What to look for in a psychic reader

When looking for a genuine and accurate psychic reading it is always best to look for a reputable organization. An ethical psychic company will test their psychics before employing them, some test their readers more than once to ensure accuracy and others ask their readers to test again on a regular basis.

Checking the credentials of the company and the readers they employ is more likely to get you a satisfactory psychic reading. Word of mouth recommendations are always a good starting point as well. With the exception of astrologers, a psychic boasting a certificate may be no more accurate than a psychic who does not claim any such endorsement.
